Welcome to the Village of Park Ridge's Website!
For comments and suggestions on content, please email the Village Clerk at:
Park Ridge was incorporated in 1938. The Village occupies approximately 143 acres and is surrounded by the City of Stevens Point on all sides. The residential district is home to almost 500 people, and the commercial district has more than 50 businesses. The Village has a five-member Board of Trustees, which meets monthly to conduct the business of the Village. All board member terms are two years in length. Board meeting agendas and minutes are posted here on the Village web site and on posting boards at Walgreens, the Village Hall, and outside the Opportunity Development Center building on Highway 66 (Park Ridge Drive). All Village residents vote at the Village Hall, 24 Crestwood Drive. Poll hours are 7:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. State law requires that all voters register. Registration may be done at the polls on Election Day. Trash and recycling are picked up every Thursday (exceptions are weeks when a holiday falls on or before Thursday, when the collection day is moved to Friday). A collection calendar is available on this web site (on the 'Trash/Recycling' page, under the Community tab) as a downloadable file. By state law, dogs over five months of age must be licensed. The fine for not licensing a dog is $169.00. A downloadable dog license application is also available on this web site (on the 'Dog Licensing' page, under the Community tab). By Village ordinance, bicycles must also be licensed. Contact the Village Clerk for more information. Bartender's licenses must be obtained from the municipality where the person will be employed. The Village's bartender's license application is available on this web site (on the 'Liquor Licensing' page, under the Community tab). Three newsletters are published during the year: Spring (late March), Fall (late August), and Winter (late November). They provide information on elections, Village events (such as the All-Village Rummage Sale and Santa’s Visit), and dates to remember throughout the year. Past newsletters may be viewed on this web site (on the 'Newsletters' page).
