IMPORTANT NOTICE TO PARK RIDGE RESIDENTS
The City of Stevens Point is weighing a request from “3535 Jefferson Street LLC” to rezone their 3-acre wooded property located at the northwest corner of Jefferson Street and Pinecrest Avenue (across from Sheridan-Worzalla Publishing) from B-4 Commercial District to M-1 Light Industrial District.
The rezoning request may be linked to a plan to build a warehouse facility of considerable size on the site (the area typically known as the “Worzalla woods” south of Metro Market grocery store). As a Village resident and neighbor, your opinions are important to the City Plan Commission as they evaluate this request.
